PCH/FMC Collects Food for Thanksgiving Baskets

George McGilvrey, Admissions Director at Paris Health Care Center, is pictured with Cherie Mattingly, ImageL.P.N. of the Med/Surg Department at Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center, after making a donation of a case of food from the health care center to the hospital unit’s food collection effort.

The PCH Med/Surg Partnership Council has challenged other PCH/FMC departments to collect food donations to be given to qualifying families through New Hope Ministries. In addition, staff members throughout the organization have decorated boxes to fill with the non-perishable food items.

A committee will judge the boxes and announce winners on Nov. 19. Employees hope to collect a large amount of food to be distributed prior to Thanksgiving.
